Idaho Naturopaths' Licensure REVOKED This 2015-04 - SFSBM

here, I briefly cite from a recent post by the Society for Science Based Medicine regarding naturopathy and Idaho:

001. Jann writes in "Naturopaths De-Licensed in Idaho, Practice Expansion Nixed in North Dakota" (2015-04-05):

"Idaho first licensed naturopathic 'doctors' in 2005 [...] April 2 [2015] was a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day for naturopaths [...] naturopaths were actually de-licensed by the Idaho Legislature [...]";

stripped of their status!

"getting to the Senate didn't do the naturopaths any good because on March 30, the bill was resoundingly defeated. But, wait! That's not all that happened in the Senate. Senate Bill 1177 repealed the problematic licensing statute enacted in 2005 [...]";

and so, licensed falsehood takes a pause in its march.

Note: by the way, the SFSBM actually has a search hit at the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians' web site.  In "How AANP Is Supporting State Advocacy Efforts", we're told:

"AANP speaks out for the ND profession in a variety of ways [...] new documents have, too, been added from the Maryland Naturopathic Doctors Association, which is battling pushback from the Society for Science-Based Medicine on implementation of ND licensing in Maryland."

on the radar!
