ND Jensen: Nutrient Deficiences 'Cause' Disease So Supplements

here, that typical naturopathic meme that you need supplements or you'll get diseases, or if you have diseases you need supplements:

001. ND Jensen, a BINM ND graduate, tells us in "Divine Elements Naturopathic Family and Wellness - Nutrient Deficiencies" (2015):
.

.
"most people don’t realize that there are a ton of journal articles and published documentation and research on the role that nutrient deficiencies play in someone’s health and into the deterioration of someone’s health and these can be directly correlated with conditions such as cancer, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, osteoarthritis and Alzheimer’s dementia [...]";

well, it sounds to me the ND means 'nutrient deficiencies cause these conditions', that as nutrients get lower diseases occur, and the opposite, as they are raised the disease will reverse.  Well, healthy people who eat well don't need to supplement.  That's been settled.  The ND's creepy stare into the camera doesn't help the ND's argument.  But, of course, naturopaths like to directly sell supplements, and maybe the harder we are creepily stared at then perhaps the more convinced we will be to buy, buy, buy.
