here, I summarize recent additions to my public naturopathy database. I also link to an ND's video each changelog, quote from, and tag the video in some detail:
[Mission
emphasis: I do this continuous exercise to expose the inherent fraud
that naturopathy is logically, academically, commercially, legislatively
/ politically and clinically. Hugely misleading category labels such
as "science based" and "evidence based" "nonsectarian" are being placed
upon what truly is science-exterior and even more so disproven sectarian
/ quack nonsense! Then, the largest of betrayals toward the public
occurs with highly orchestrated '.gov' endorsements of naturopaths as
"licensed" and "professional." Beware, the naturopathic licensed
falsehood racket marches on!]

anything essentially useful about naturopathy, from the position of public informed consent. There is no mention of vitalism, no mention of naturopathy's position that the science-ejected and science-exterior are INSTEAD falsely called science in Naturopathyland. Instead, we're led to believe that from bachelor's level science then naturopathy. Yet, truly, naturopathy's essences are not university science, like: homeopathy, vitalism, the supernatural as science-based, electrodermal testing, TCM etc. On the ND's bio. page, we get coded vitalism as "the healing power of nature".
002.b. at the ND's practice, comprised of 3 NDs, let's look at what naturopathy contains, in part:
002.b1. you do get science-ejected vitalism in "Improve Digestion with Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine" [saved 2020-02-21], which states:
"the source of body’s vital energy. Digestion is a critical biological process for the body to obtain nutrients and vital energy through drink and food. Therefore, the digestive system and its function are essential to sustain one’s life and bodily function. The body needs varieties of food and fluid to maintain the integrity of its bones, muscles, membranes of cells and organelles, as well as maintain its biochemical balance with water, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, hormones, enzymes, and neurotransmitters [...];"
well, there is no such thing as vital energy, scientifically speaking. This is nonparsimonious, sectarian fluff piggybacking on established, scientifically derived knowledge.
002.b2. and more of such vitalism in "Traditional Chinese Medicine" [saved 2020-02-21]:
"what is qi? [...] pronounced 'chee,' qi is the life energy that flows throughout the body. Qi is found in all living things and serves as a driving force. It also protects the body from injury and disease. A person’s health is influenced by the quality, quantity and balance of qi [...] qi flows
through the body in specific pathways called meridians. There are 14
main meridians in the body. Each of these meridians connects to a
different organ or gland in the body [...] where the river flows it
transports life-sustaining water (qi) [...] once the flow of qi in
the meridian is restricted, it can lead to poor health in the organ
system that is fed by that particular meridian [...] much like the
immune system can fight off a cold virus, the body normally regulates
the flow of qi through meridians in order to heal itself. If the imbalance in the flow of qi is prolonged, it may result in pain, illness or disease [...] acupuncture works by adjusting the flow of qi in
the meridian system to stimulate the body to heal itself. By inserting
hair-fine, sterile needles at specific points along the meridian, the
flow of qi is restored or enhanced. This allows the qi to
circulate and provide healing and nourishment to the organs, muscles,
tissues and cells in the body [...] tui na [...] is a therapeutic style
of massage that is used to rectify imbalances of qi flow in the meridians, tissues or organs. Much like acupuncture, various hand techniques are utilized to adjust the qi flow,
allowing the body to self-heal [...] cupping is the therapeutic
approach of placing specially made small cups on the skin to treat the
restricted flow of qi or blood in the body [...] the suction
created in the immediate area covered by the cup stimulates the body to
self-heal by increasing the flow of qi to the affected area [...] by warming up certain acupuncture points, the flow of qi in the body can be regulated and disease treated [...] several herbs will be combined in a formula designed to balance the qi in the body and stimulate the body to fight various diseases";
ah, qi-nese medicine.
002.b3. and also such vitalism in "Basic Naturopathic Therapies" [saved 2020-02-21]:
"acupuncture
is the use of small single-use sterile needles that are inserted into
very specific acupuncture points called meridians. Meridians are
pathways to different organs or glands in the body along which qi flows. Qi (life energy) is found in all living things and serves as a driving force. It also protects the body from injury and disease. A person’s health is influenced by the quality, quantity and balance of qi [...] when a meridian is blocked, the flow of qi is
restricted. When this occurs, it can lead to poor health in the organ
system that is fed by that particular meridian and may result in pain,
illness, or disease. Acupuncture adjusts the flow of qi in the meridian system to stimulate the body to heal itself";
as what is basic or foundational or essential in terms of naturopathy.
