Bastyr ND Grad Merola Offers Clarification on COVID-19 [so, let’s clarify DEEPLY...]

here, oh the hypocrisy, the hypocrisy!!!

001. ND Merola states in her YouTube video “COVID-19 - Can Naturopathic Medicine Help?
 .

.
“[from the video] I’m Dr. Merola [a naturopath!…] I wanted to address the coronavirus disease 2019 aka covid-19 […] from I guess a naturopathic doctor’s point of view or perspective […] in this crazy time […] I think there needs to be some clarification on a few things […]”;

well, that’s inspiring [see 002., below].

everything I’m talking about in this video is coming from the [CDC and WHO…]”;

well, none of that is naturopathic.  Because she gives us mainstream information that is scientific, in an encyclo-bot manner like an eighth-grader.  So, here we are, parasitically piggybacking naturopathy on a pandemic by way of non-naturopathic information.  Aka piggybacking the unspoken fringe upon the legitimate vetted.

002. a deep clarification regarding naturopathy:

002.a. there’s the naturopathic claim of being science, byway of the NDs alma mater:

002.b. but, that’s not true categorically because that same school includes, within that naturopathy science claim:

002.b1. homeopathy:

002.b2. vitalism:

002.b3. supernaturalism:

002.b4. other crazy shit:

003. such selective clarification! Such selective citation! The ND further tells us in the video:

003.a.

"there are no proven treatments for COVID-19 and if you read that [...anywhere] it is a lie [...] it is a false statement [...] a false medical claim [...]";

so, how come 'vitalism is within the science-based, homeopathy is within the science-based' a la Naturopathyland is forgiven, as 'is NOT a lie or false'?  Though such meet that criteria?  The stench, the stench...

003.b.

"naturopathic medicine thrives in the department of immune support and boosting overall wellness [...and there's] a lot of powerful natural therapies [...] a lot of antiviral herbs again none have been proven to help or treat COVID-19 [...]";

and the ND offers NO CITATIONS for these 'thriving naturopathy' claims particularly for antiviral herbs.  Which require just as much support to be true as anything else in her video.  I'd watch out for naturopathy's adjectives, like powerful, therefore.  After all, they quite falsely state homeopathy is powerful.  And if magic beans, unicorn tears, and flying carpets are all considered excellent [and science-based], well, should you trust them at all?

003.c.

"as a trained integrative healthcare provider, I can help ease that confusion [...] make it really simple for you [...] I'm currently offering acute virtual video consultations [...] for a really discounted price [...at] lucerenaturalmedicine.janeapp.com [...]";

well, the essentially naturopathic is essentially false, I can ease that confusion and make it simple too.  And at that practice, by the way, for the sake of 'is this transparent?', there is no public explanation of naturopathy's muddled knowledge base beside this statement:

"naturopathic medicine is an integrative medicine that combines modern science with traditional healing methods."

ah, wine plus mud...posed as potable.
