001. at globenewswire.com, in "The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians Celebrates Naturopathic Medicine Week October 7-13, 2018" [2018 archived], the AANP and their INM tell us:
"Washington, Oct. 08, 2018 [...] the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP) observes the second week in October each year to celebrate naturopathic medicine and the dedicated naturopathic doctors that make up the profession [...]";
always good to start "Washington", and pose "profession."
"Naturopathic Medicine Week also serves as an ideal time to educate the public on the principles of naturopathic medicine [...] 'Naturopathic Medicine Week gives us the opportunity and platform to showcase the merits of naturopathic doctors and our
unique philosophical approach within the changing field of healthcare,'
stated Jaquel Patterson, ND, MBA, president of the AANP [...]";
well, that's fascinating because at naturopathic.org, where the AANP resides online, there's a page about principles and when you compare that language to the NUNM mother-ship school of AANP type NDs, you find that the AANP's language is quite EDITED, in terms of the essentially naturopathic. Not very educating, actually. Manipulating...yes. And to be clear, naturopathy's primary idea and claim, that a vital force runs physiology, is bunk. But they claim it is within "science." Yes, quite a unique philosophical approach, that I call "the naturopathillogical."
"naturopathic doctors all over the country will put on events such as open houses and health fairs to share what they do to change the face of medicine in the U.S. from sick care to health care [...]";
now, that's an accusation that conventional medicine is not competent and naturopathy has something better to offer. Like pseudoscience in idea, method and commitment.
