001. at wdam.com, Jessica Bowman writes in "Alternatives to Build Your Immune System, Fight Flu" (2018):
"many people are beginning to get the flu shot as this flu season is approaching, and for some it’s already here. Jessica Bowman visited Wildflower Wellness in Hattiesburg to learn about an alternative option if you do not receive the flu vaccination [...]";
well, an alternative has to offer an equal amount of reasonable efficacy. What does such in comparison to a flu shot? Not what's suggested. So, this is a FAKE alternative, because homeopathy is FAKE pharmacy.
"some are opting out of getting the shot [...] 'the CDC says you have to have it. We can’t really say you should not get one, but you cannot be forced to take a flu shot,' said Kirby Thompson, who specializes in naturopathic medicine [...]";
this does not sound like medical care, that uses the best knowledge. It sounds antivaccine. But of course, a flu shot cuts into the business of naturopathy, especially a supplement seller.
"Thompson said there is no substitute for the flu shot, but there are alternatives with a key message of building your immune system [...] there are a lot of different immune herbs [...] there are also some homeopathics that actually seem to be quite great [...like] the Flu Milieu and [...] the Flu Care [...]";
this is an irrational statement. An alternative is posed, yet claimed not to be an alternative. Wacko. That empty homeopathic remedies that have no scientific support are "great", and are equated with herbs, shows how the whole shebang is equally NOT a substitute or alternative.
"homeopathic medicines work to restore healing and decrease susceptibility to disease. The ingredients come from single substances found in nature such as plants, minerals or animal sources [...]";
that's not a quote, that's the author. But homeopathy doesn't work. And effectively, homeopathics have no ingredients due to their dilution.
002. the ND's bio. at her practice page states:
"Dr. Thompson
graduated with her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from National
University of Health Sciences in 2012 as valedictorian [...]";
so, how did such a ruse as science subset naturopathy subset homeopathy happen? At the doctoral level...
there's more stuff:
here's her page on supplements [and videos with lots of supplements] including homeopathy.
