Katie DeRosa at vancouversun.com: Homeopathy for Autism "Has No Backing in Scientific Evidence"

here, criticism of homeopathy:

001. Katie DeRosa at vancouversun.com writes in "Victoria Naturopath Who Treated Child With Rabies-Infected Saliva Surrenders Licence" (2018-11-11):

"a naturopath who controversially used rabies-infected saliva to treat a child has surrendered her licence to the College of Naturopathic Physicians of B.C. However, Anke Zimmermann will continue to work as an unregulated homeopath [...] the college also conducted an investigation into Zimmermann’s use of CEASE therapy, an acronym for 'complete elimination of autism spectrum expression.' Advocates of the therapy claim that homoeopathy can be used to eliminate autism, based on the premise that autism is caused by vaccines, something that has no backing in scientific evidence [...] she will continue to practise homoeopathy, an 'alternative' practice that has been criticized for its lack of scientific proof [...]";

since this is about Canada, "college" here is not a school but a provicial self-regulatory body. Now, homeopathy is integral to naturopathy and the province here is B.C. In B.C. the College allows naturopaths to claim the categorical label "science" supon such nonsenses as homeopathy.  Such as B.C.'s ND Steeves [2018 archived].  No intervention there, because why would nonsense have a problem with itself?
