KRQE on New Mexico Naturopathy Licensure

here, New Mexico legislative news:

001. we're told in "Senate Bill 135 Aims to License and Regulate Naturopathic Doctors" [2019 archived] (2019):

"[from the article] New Mexico [...this] legislative session [...has a bill that] would allow naturopathic doctors to be licensed and regulated in New Mexico [...]";

licensed falsehood marches on...gaming the system...

"naturopathic doctors are trained to be primary care doctors, just as medical doctors are. They also learn nutrition, herbal medicine, physical medicine and the importance of lifestyle on health, such as healthy stress management [that's quite truncated]. These physicians spend more time with patients in order to understand all the components of health and treat the root cause of any imbalance rather than just the symptoms with an aim for individualized, whole body medicine for optimal health [...]";

wow.  Quite the commercial / proponentry.  What's not mentioned is that naturopathy also claims science upon what is patently not science, like homeopathy and the supernatural [and kind]. NDs are therein NOT just like MDs, because MDs are not engaged in patent falsehood.  So, in that sense, is it really smart to allow them to protect their falsehood with an ND dominated regulatory apparatus?  Because nonsense does not find fault with itself...

"this is the catalyst behind a 60+ mile run, led by the New Mexico Association of Naturopathic Physicians (NMANP) who want to draw attention for the need to license Naturopathic doctors [...]";

let's go there.

002. nmanp.org:

002.a. there's their page "About":

"NMANP's mission is to advance the naturopathic profession at a local, statewide, and national level. To educate the public and gain licensure in order to bring quality healthcare to the communities of New Mexico. To support members and maintain a standard for the ethical, clinical and educational requirements one must obtain in order to hold the title naturopathic physician [...]";

so let me add to that mission camouflage: naturopathy is an unethical sectarian pseudoscience.  If we're really talking about educating, quality, and ethical.  Without, apparently, a single peep from the web site regarding the essentially naturopathic.  That doesn't get you licensed...
