A 2019 Naturopathy Paper Claims "Evidence" and "Effective" Yet Points Out Naturopathy's Basis and Methods Are Science-Ejected [really]

here, from the Bizzaro world of naturopathy, and I don't make this stuff up:

001. this 2019, in the Journal of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, NDs Myers and Vigar write in "The State of the Evidence for Whole-System, Multi-Modality Naturopathic Medicine: A Systematic Scoping Review"

[Myers, S. P., & Vigar, V. (2019). The State of the Evidence for Whole-System, Multi-Modality Naturopathic Medicine: A Systematic Scoping Review. Journal of alternative and complementary medicine (New York, N.Y.), 25(2), 141-168]:

"the WNF defines the naturopathic profession based on two fundamental philosophies of medicine (vitalism and holism) and seven principles of practice [..with #1 the] healing power of nature; [...] the WNF has identified seven core modalities [for naturopathy...including] homeopathy [...and] complex homeopathy [...]";

so, there's naturopathy's GLOBAL vitalism and homeopathy that's so science-ejected and sectarian-figmentacious as a preponderance in terms of naturopathy and in terms of science.

"[yet we're told] whole-system multi-modality naturopathic medicine is effective for treating a range of conditions [...] here is a vast array of clinical trial evidence supporting the tools of trade used in naturopathic medicine [...]";

and it's interesting that these Australian NDs don't mention iridology, a staple of Oz naturopathy.  The naturopathillogical marches on, polluting the allied healthcare literature... Which is quite ironic for something claiming "natural".
