Alaric DeArment on HBO Theranos Documentary: One Error is Sourcing a Naturopath for a Physician Perspective

here, hear hear:

001. at medcitynews.com, Alaric DeArment writes in "HBO documentary ‘The Inventor’ goes inside the rise and fall of Theranos" (2019-03-08):

"it does have a couple of flaws that stuck out to me, in particular the use of a naturopath for an interview to provide physician perspective [...] Stephanie Seitz, ND [...]  who even refers to herself in the film as a 'physician' despite lacking a medical degree [...which is] a bizarre departure from what is otherwise a superb documentary [...the irony is] letting someone whose profession one former naturopath called 'essentially witchcraft' speak for the medical community is at odds with the film’s purpose of elucidating an infamous healthcare fraud, [...] because their practices [...] are generally considered pseudoscientific [...and the simile:] it’s like a documentary about ancient Egypt featuring remarks from an amateur treasure hunter instead of an archeologist [...]";

agreed. Exactamundo! I perfer to call naturopathys metaphysicians...OUT THERE.  Meta=beyond.
