001. so, for the bill, I'll use the legislature.idaho.gov language of "House Bill No. 152" [2019 archived]:
it does not contain the root "scien";
there are 84 instances of "naturop";
and there's:
"'naturopathic medicine' means a distinct and comprehensive system of primary health care practiced by a licensed naturopathic physician [...] licensed naturopathic physicians may perform those therapies for which they are trained and educated [...] the board of medicine shall administer, coordinate, and enforce the provisions of this chapter [...] grounds for discipline or denial of a license [...include] the use of fraud or deceit";
so, no definition of naturopathy except that it is itself. How distinct. That naturopathy is what the schools teach. Yet, when an ND does what they are trained and educated to do, then they are actually practicing deception, quackery, and unfair trade. Now, it's amazing when the medical community must become unethical and subservient to such. It's simply amazing. Here, we have legislated illegality. And we have a rule that actually annuls the naturopathic M.O. of 'unethical sectarian pseudoscience', creating a false sense of safety, rationality, ethicality, competence and professionalism.
