001. ND Canoy, an NUHS ND graduate [the 'S' stands for science]. on a page titled "Services" [2019 archived], states:
"ancestral clearing. When we are born, our soul has an imprint of our past ancestors and their actions, which then can impact our lives negatively [...] ancestral clearing is the experience of consciousness, as our source, and accessing it to release the burdens of life [...] homeopathic treatment is a healing technique based on the principle of 'like cures like' by addressing the symptoms as a whole. Homeopathy helps activate the natural healing processes in each person's body. Thus, gently restoring their physical and emotional well-being. [...] biotherapeutic drainage is the therapeutic use of homeopathics, botanicals or trace minerals to facilitate the elimination of toxins out of the body. This is detoxification on the cellular level while also being gentle enough to be used with children and the elderly [...]";
what company these therapies keep! With the ND degree stated as 'science subset naturopathy', generally by way of NUHS, we're being let to believe that this 'beliefy' stuff is likewise. And this is supposed to be medicine, not the ministry of whatever kind. But I've often said naturopaths don't make such a distinction. And therein, science and freedom of belief are jeopardized.
002. also here in the video "Naturopathic Medicine: An Interview with Dr. Kirsten Canoy" (2019) [saved 2019-10-29] we get:
"[@19.39] ancestral clearing [..] working with the generational traumas [...] a way to forgive and move on from the past [...] what about past lives and past impressions on my soul [...] the original event in past lives as well [...] I actually found one of my lives [...] another life I found out [...] throughout these lives [...] now they're cleared [...] living your fullest [...] it comes down to our emotions [...]";
how weird! How trippy. And if we're talking science, then of course the question is one of evidence. So, without such, here we have the metaphysician posing as physician. The doctor of the beyond...[cue 1960s theremins].
