here, I summarize recent additions to my public naturopathy database. I also link to an ND's video each changelog, quote from, and tag the video in some detail:
[Mission emphasis: I do this continuous exercise to expose the inherent fraud that naturopathy is logically, academically, commercially, legislatively / politically and clinically. Hugely misleading category labels such as "science based" and "evidence based" "nonsectarian" are being placed upon what truly is science-exterior and even more so disproven sectarian / quack nonsense! Then, the largest of betrayals toward the public occurs with highly orchestrated '.gov' endorsements of naturopaths as "licensed" and "professional." Beware, the naturopathic licensed falsehood racket marches on!]
001. added:
the vitalism [science-ejected subset naturopathy] claims of:
ND Asad;
NDs Ananda, Anderson,
Dericks, Kimata, Nguyen, Williams;
NDNR;
the 'science subset naturopathy' category claims of:
State of Vermont;
UBCNM; to Appendix I.01.a11.;
ND Saunders;
ND Seeman;
002. video link and commentary:
002.a. there's a YouTube video by Sage, K. (ND NUNM 2009) [bio.s here and here], titled "3 Reasons to Choose A Naturopathic Doctor" [saved 2021-06-20,] wherein we're told:
.
.
[tags: #NDSage #homeopathy #NDpediatrics]
.
"'I'm a naturopathic physician and I specialize in pediatrics [...she says there are] 3 reasons to choose naturopathic medicine [...#1 she does it all herself, #2 she can write for medication or can use such tools as] homeopathy [...#3 a very open mind with what you choose to do]";
and therein, sometimes, one's mind can be so open that, as the old saw goes, one's brains fall out.
"I don't have an agenda [...]";
oh, I beg to differ. See 003. below.
002.b. the ND's practice pages:
002.b.1. there's a categorical science claim in this ND's bio. which is titled "Get to Know Dr. Kate Sage, NMD" [yes, NDs in some states like Arizona get to further confuse; 2021 archived], wherein we're told:
"naturopathic physicians are licensed healthcare providers who must complete an accredited, 4-year, scientific, medical degree program and fulfill annual continuing education";
quite the promise. Scientific medical continually revised licensed.
002.b.2. in "Naturopathic Family Medicine" [2021 archived], we're told:
"naturopathic family medicine includes: botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, lifestyle counseling, physical medicine, diet & nutritional supplements, pharmaceutical medication as needed [...] a naturopathic family physician uses a number of different approaches to stimulate the body’s natural healing capacity [coded vitalism], including nutritional supplements, botanical medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, physical medicine and lifestyle counseling, as well as pharmaceutical medicine when necessary [...] the focus of naturopathic family medicine is to help your family achieve optimal health through gentle, non-invasive techniques [...] naturopathic family medicine addresses: newborn, well baby, child and teen physical exams; prevention and treatment of common childhood illnesses; food allergies and intolerances; nutrition advice for kids and parents; vaccination counseling; mood and behavior issues; infant and child sleep support; digestive concerns; recurrent infections; dermatological conditions; handling puberty gracefully and optimally";
so, anything goes: particularly the presence of homeopathy indicates that ANYTHING or basically NOTHING posed as SOMETHING goes. And when 'that homeopathic bellwether nothing is posed alongside a bunch of other stuff that sometimes is something' as an equal option, well, what does that say about the whole shebang? And, of course, there's the coded vitalism. Incidentally, should a newborn be treated with stuff that poses as scientific but isn't yet is termed medical? Reeks...
003. the NUNM agenda:
003.a. the conflation of science and patent pseudoscience all falsely categorized as science:
