Changelog 2021-07-17 and ND Video

here, I summarize recent additions to my public naturopathy database.  I also link to an ND's video each changelog, quote from, and tag the video in some detail:

[Mission emphasis: I do this continuous exercise to expose the inherent fraud that naturopathy is logically, academically, commercially, legislatively / politically and clinically.  Hugely misleading category labels such as "science based" and "evidence based" "nonsectarian" are being placed upon what truly is science-exterior and even more so disproven sectarian / quack nonsense!  Then, the largest of betrayals toward the public occurs with highly orchestrated '.gov' endorsements of naturopaths as "licensed" and "professional."  Beware, the naturopathic licensed falsehood racket marches on!]

002. video link and commentary.  Albete, H. (ND SCNM 2018) states:

002.a. in the ND's applied kinesiology videos:

[note: AK is considered quite bogus and is not to be confused with the quite legitimate exercise science category].

002.a.1. in "Heidi Albete, Naturopathic Doctor" [saved 2020]:

"[she sums her approach as] a different twist on health [...that aims to] really heal your body and cure diseases from the inside out getting from the root cause [...in] the second hour [of your first visit...] I do what's called applied kinesiology [...aka] muscle testing [...] is that muscle connecting to the brain or is there some kind of blockage [...] in applied kinesiology we're looking at the body as a triangle [...] structural, emotional, chemical [...and find out] what supplements are going to work well for you [...] what supplements should you be taking? [...] for every condition there's a laundry list of vitamins and supplements that you can take for it [...] I want to know what's going to work for your and your body, and the muscle testing tells me that [...and she speaks of] magic socks";

twistedAnd, for course, whenever I hear of NDs selling piles of stuff from their dispensaries or whatever, I have to say ka-ching!  One other thing to mention is that when I was in ND school, AK was mandatory and Goodheart's textbook was the  assigned text.  A primary reason why I stopped my participation: rank quackery.

002.a.2. in "The Power of Energy - Naturopathic Medicine and Applied Kinesiology - Find and Treat the Cause" [saved 2021-06-12]:

.

"I consider myself to be a vitalist naturopath [...] we believe the body can heal itself [...] we believe that vitality is where we need to go [...] we should focus on this vital force [...] what is the vital force?  It's what keeps you going.  It's what gives you energy to wake up in the morning [...when you get a cut and it heals] that's your vital force within you that is healing the body [...] it's also what lets plants grow [...] it's where our wind and our air and all of that come from [...] vitality of the earth [...] as a naturopathic doctor I focus on healing the body through this vital force [...] so, you'll hear me say over and over again we're really doing this to heal your vital force [...] when you heal the vital force, this vitality within us [...] clearing out those road-blocks [...particularly with homeopathy] it's telling your body [...] could we increase our vital force so that we can heal this? [...] I'm looking to heal the body, increase vitality [...] when you take a homeopathy, you're gonna increase your vital force [...] if you are doing the basic treatment guidelines [...then] I know that you're already increasing your vital force [...] all of these things are going to increase your vital force [...and] therefore work towards healing you [...] your internal doctor, this is that vital force [...]
the natural healing force within us, this vital force [...] I'm having a conversation with your inner doctor [...] ";

any questions as to what naturopathy is based upon?

"a doctor of naturopathic medicine [...] we go to a four-year medical program [...and speaks of early] -ologies [...and then learning] homeopathy [and kind...like] the natural healing technique [...and] applied kinesiology [...] muscle testing [...how we] dive into the body [...] you can think of it like a smart phone, with the touch screen [...] on the front of the body, there's a bunch of different reflex points for different organs [...by touching these and] muscle testing [...she discovers] where is there vitality, and where is there a blockage [...] with muscle testing, it's all about neurology [...] and by touching different spots on the spinal column, we are able to effect the internal organs [...] play a little piano on the spine [...] we've reintegrated the nerve supply to that organ [...] applied kinesiology was started in the '60s by Dr. George Goodheart [...] the father of applied kinesiology [...who] figured out that muscles are related to different organ systems [...] and therefore what nutrition we're gonna need [...] so here is just a picture of the different elements in Chinese medicine [...] water, wood, fire, earth, and metal [...] it could be your liver meridian that's off [...] that's were the muscle testing is just brilliant [...to determine] what medicine do we need, what organ system are we affecting [...] that gives us a good idea of what's happening in the body [...] ";

 and to quote from the Wiki article regarding AK: "applied kinesiology (AK) is a pseudoscience-based technique in alternative medicine claimed to be able to diagnose illness or choose treatment by testing muscles for strength and weakness".

"there's also a universal shut-off point [...] right here in the forehead [...] when that doesn't shut off, I know that something is going on [...] their magic off button [...and we see her touching the example patient's forehead a couple of times]";

because heads I win, tails you lose. And more below for all you masochists:

002.b. other pages:

002.b.1. at linkedin.com we're told in "Heidi (Halvorsen) Albete" [2021 saved]:

"as a child of a common American family, I have grown up with sickness and illness of my family members and friends. Listening to the disappointed stories they tell after seeing the doctor and not getting the answers they needed to their chronic health problems propelled me to find another option. I have been searching for the way to optimal health for prevention of disease instead of strictly combat of disease. I soon found naturopathic medicine, nutrition and then applied kinesiology. As a naturopathic doctor I have learned how to use the vis mediatrix [sic.] naturae, the healing power of nature, to bring the body back to its desired state of health. I feel passionately about helping women wishing to become mothers and children of all kinds. My philosophy is that if I can intervene early in a person's life, or before they are born then it will be easier to prevent sickness by building health than it is to build health in a sick body. By helping children, I believe that we will be able to help a whole generation of our population. It starts with one and snowballs into an entire community of people. This medicine is the medicine of the future. It starts here with us, and it ends with the rest of the world following suit. This medicine is the answer to our current and future healthcare problems and I want everyone on this planet to know it, understand it and be able to use it in their daily lives";

some may argue that NDs prey on desperation.  And of course, we get naturopathy's coded vitalism.  No matter how misspelled!  And the obstetrical and pediatric...  Offered as the future but I don't believe that AK pseudodiagnostics are the future.  Critical thinking blows it out of the water.
