The Epistemic Rules of 'Cosmos A Spacetime Odyssey'

here, I briefly paraphrase Neil deGrasse Tyson's epistemic rules for the series 'Cosmos A Spacetime Odyssey':

-test ideas by experiment and observation;

-build on those that pass, reject what fails;

-following the evidence wherever it leads;

-question everything!

Note: thinking about the opposite of that list, I've got:

gullibly accept as true untested ideas and don't delineate based upon evidence.
