CAND Announces the World Naturopathic Federation

here, I cite from a Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors press release [see 001., below]; then, I visit the website of the World Naturopathic Federation [see 002., below]:

001. the CAND states in "Member Update" (2014-08-07)[archived here]:

"on behalf of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, Dr. Iva Lloyd, ND attended meetings last month in Paris, France, which resulted in the formation of the World Naturopathic Federation [...] Dr. Lloyd, ND was nominated to and now sits as an member of the Interim Organizational Committee for the Federation [...] an interim organizational committee of eight members representing Canada, the United States, France, Germany, Spain, Belgium, India, Australia and New-Zealand was appointed [...]";

hey, that's the ND Lloyd who serves as the 'hub' of my recent Naturocrit Podcast Episode 005 (click here for the first part).

"the mission of the WNF is to  [...] promote accreditation and the highest educational standards for our global profession [...]";

and may I remind you that CAND is the organization that states "science-based" upon the patently science-exterior 'essentially naturopathic'.  So, "highest educational standards" me arse.  Who has ever heard of a profession that is based on patent nonsense?

"for more information on the World Naturopathic Federation visit our website at www.worldnaturopathicfederation.org [...]";

I'm all over that!  This is EXCITING...

002. WNF's current web presence:

002.a. in "Interim Committee" (archived here) we're told:

"Iva Lloyd [...] graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2002 [...]";

that's the CCNM that codes naturopathy's essential science-ejected premise, and then falsely labels that content "science."

"in 2012, Dr. Lloyd founded www.ndhealthfacts.org a wiki-based website which acts a hub for naturopathic information [...]";

hey, that's the ND wiki I talk about in Naturocrit Podcast Episode 005d (click here)!

"she has authored [...] 'The Energetics of Health, a Naturopathic Assessment' and 'The History of Naturopathic Medicine, a Canadian Perspective' [...]";

hey, those two books are what I primarily deal with in the final part of Episode 005, Part 5, which I am in the midst of drafting and recording.

"she has done various seminars both nationally and internationally that focus on the energetics of health, mind-body medicine and naturopathic and energetic assessments [...]";

energy!  Caution!  This is NOT the energy of science, but the figmentatious, putative energy of vitalism-spiritism and kind.  This is the pseudoscientific labeling of the patently science-exterior supernatural and the science-ejected vitalistic.

002.b. by the way, the US representative is ND Parker, who graduated from NCNM:
