The Institute For Natural Medicine Claims to "Educate, Empower, Transform"

here, oh the veneer:

001. at YouTube, there's the video "INM Ambassador Program" [saved 2107-11-19] where we're told:

.
"[by ND McMath] the community outreach coordinator of the INM [...tells us] educate, empower, transform.  This is the clear mission of the Institute for Natural Medicine [...] the Ambassador Program [...is] an initiative [...] to increase public awareness and public understanding of the value of naturopathic medicine [...] we educate, empower, and transform our team of abassodors to communicate this message effectively [...]";

well, first and foremost we should be told that naturopathy is an unethical sectarian pseudoscience.  That would be very educational, empowering, and transformative.

002. and at INM, we get:

002.a. coded vitalism on the "FAQS" page as:

"stimulate the self-healing mechanisms. NDs use therapies to stimulate and strengthen the body’s innate self-healing and curative abilities. These therapies include modalities such as clinical nutrition, botanical medicines, constitutional hydrotherapy, homeopathy, and acupuncture [...]";

so, we don't deserve to KNOW, truly, so we can then be EDUCATED.  That's disempowering.  And homeopathy is bunk, but they shovel that shit towards us without warning.

"[and that page tells us an ND degree] is a comprehensive, rigorous, and well-rounded scientific medical education that is both comparable and complementary to that of MDs and DOs [...]";

but how can that be true if the very definition of science that naturopathy uses permits the hugely science discarded and ejected?  The education is instead pseudoscientific.

002.b. and no medicatrix on the site!
