Changelog 2017-12-11 and ND Video

here, I summarize recent additions to my public naturopathy database.  I also link to an ND's video each changelog, quote from, and tag the video in some detail:

[Mission emphasis: I do this continuous exercise to expose the inherent fraud that naturopathy is logically, academically, commercially, legislatively / politically and clinically.  Hugely misleading category labels such as "science based" and "evidence based" "nonsectarian" are being placed upon what truly is science-exterior and even more so disproven sectarian / quack nonsense!  Then, the largest of betrayals toward the public occurs with highly orchestrated '.gov' endorsements of naturopaths as "licensed" and "professional."  Beware, the naturopathic licensed falsehood racket marches on!]

001. added:

the vitalism [science-ejected subset naturopathy] claims of:

the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians;

the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians'
Natural Medicine Journal;

the British Columbia Naturopathic Association;
the Indiana Association of Naturopathic Physicians;

NDs Finley and Tecchio;
ND Firisin;
ND Frodermann;
to Appendix B.05.i.bbbb00.;

NDs Homkovics, Lee, Mitchell;
to Appendix B.05.i.c.03.;

Maryland University of Integrative Health;
to Appendix I.01.a4.1.;

ND Vassighi;

the 'science subset naturopathy' category claims of:

ND Frodermann;
ND Furtado;

the 'scientific rejection of vitalism':

Clough et al. in
"A Distinctly Human Quest:
The Demise of Vitalism and
the Search for Life's Origins"
and therein we're told
"partial support for this work was provided by
the National Science Foundation's Course, Curriculum
and Laboratory Improvement program";

002. video link and commentary:
.
002.a. there's ND Parkinson (ND CCNM) in "Katelin Parkinson, Naturopathic Doctor" (posted and saved 2017-12-09) who states:
.

.
[tags: #NDParkinson #scienceclaims #informedconsent #codedvitalism #IndianaND]
.
"an accredited naturopathic medical college [...] the first couple of years are very heavy in the sciences similar to a medical degree [...] the national board exams [...] there are two parts to that [...]";

so, supposedly "similar" to the applied science preponderance taught at regular MD-DO school.  Except naturopathy, even by way of its board exam, claims basically that science has no limits. That is NOT similar.

"an effective, science-based contraceptive method [...] well supported by science and evidence [...] the science and evidence supporting their validity.  And so that's very important [...] there's been research that's been done [...] the research that's backing them up [...] scientifically backed-up [...]";

the irony and perversity of an area that falsely puts the science-ejected and science exterior within science then stating all that science stuff.

"it's not about masking symptoms [...] it's about really trying to understand what is the root of the issue [...]";

so there's the typical naturopathy dig at regular medicine which it falsely poses as negligent epistemically speaking.

"supporting the body to be able to heal itself [...]";

ah, coded vitalism.

 "informed consent is such that you are given all of your options and that you are able to make an informed decision yourself [...] I wish that there was a greater understanding [...] just being informed I think is the most important message I could say [...] I'm just a big advocate for women to know [...] it is so empowering to know [...]";

so, coded vitalism [and only coded at her web site as you'll see below] and that these statements of informing, understanding, knowing, empowering.

"I am a part of the State association [...] the Indiana Association of Naturopathic Physicians [...] InANP [...a state where] I am not a primary care provider [...] katelinparkinsonnd.com [...]";

let's go theres!

002.b. at her practice, you get such great coded vitalism as in the page "The Art and Practice of Naturopathic Medicine" [2017 archived] where we're told:

"naturopathic medicine  [...] encourages an individuals' inherent self-healing process and works on building up one's own ability to heal and maintain lifelong wellness [...] foundations of naturopathic medicine.  The foundation of naturopathic medicine is governed by the following six principles [...#2] the healing power of nature";

I am not feeling very informed or empowered therein.

002.c. at INANP, similarly, there's the page "Naturopathic Medicine" [2017 archived] which states:
.

"the practice of naturopathic medicine is founded upon seven underlying principles [...#2] vis medicatrix naturae, the healing power of nature: naturopathic doctors recognize the inherent intelligent ability of the body to heal";
and, as I'm fond of saying, that's all you get there.  Coded vitalism.  But that's not enough in terms of clarity and all those 'good things' the ND mentioned earlier. While "National University of Health Sciences" is all over their web pages, which has an ND school.  As if science subset naturopathy.
