Naturopathy Microcosms: A 2018 Bastyr ND Student’s EENT Notes Equating Quackery With Medicine

here, a typical example of 'throughout ND education is epistemic conflation falsely labeled epistemic distinction':

001. at YouTube, the account “Talk Natural To Me”, of a Bastyr ND student in California, has up the video “Naturopathic Medical School Spring Midterms Week Pt 2” (2018-05-14)[saved 2018-05-28] which shows:

her notes for her EENT midterm which includes the language "acute rhinosinusitis […] etiology: virus […] purulent nasal discharge and nasal obstruction […] diagnosis […] facial pain, post-nasal drip, purulent rhinorrhea […] treatment […] intranasal steroid […] antibiotics if no improvement […] amoxicillin […] homeopathy: kali-bi [for] pain / pressure at the root of the nose […]”;

so, on that list equally are legitimate treatments and complete crap, obviously.  So, therein, we have quackery equated with medicine.  That IS naturopathy: epistemic conflation.  And what's really REALLY interesting is Bastyr's label upon all of this as "science".  Kali-bi is potassium bichromate, homeopathy prepared which means diluted to the point of delusion. Now, it's often pointed out that ND students take a few mandatory homeopathy classes.  But, this isn't a homeopathy class. This is one of the supposed clinical sciences, on of the big medical -ologies.  I experienced the same mixture of medicine with crap in ND school 20 years ago.
