Changelog 2020-12-31 and ND Video

here, I summarize recent additions to my public naturopathy database.  I also link to an ND's video each changelog, quote from, and tag the video in some detail:

[Mission emphasis: I do this continuous exercise to expose the inherent fraud that naturopathy is logically, academically, commercially, legislatively / politically and clinically.  Hugely misleading category labels such as "science based" and "evidence based" "nonsectarian" are being placed upon what truly is science-exterior and even more so disproven sectarian / quack nonsense!  Then, the largest of betrayals toward the public occurs with highly orchestrated '.gov' endorsements of naturopaths as "licensed" and "professional."  Beware, the naturopathic licensed falsehood racket marches on!]

002. video link and commentary:

002.a. the "Molly Force, ND" YouTube account has up the video "Dr Mary Schroeder Joins Prosper Natural Health, Port Townsend Naturopathic Doctor Acupuncture" [saved 2020-12-26]:

"[who speaks on traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, and mentions] 5-element theory and yin and yang theory [...and their] balance [...with the 5-elements each] associated with an organ [...and she speaks of a free flow of] qi [...and] liver qi stagnation;

so, prescientific woo.  Not theory in any kind of scientific sense.

002.b. the video links to a Washington State practice at prospernaturalhealth.com, apparently of four Bastyr NDs -- Bower, M. (ND Bastyr), de Lombaert, R. (ND Bastyr), Force, M. (ND Bastyr), Schroeder, M. (ND Bastyr) -- who have the page up:

002.b1. "Naturopathic Medicine" [2020 archived] which tells us, broadly:

"licensed NDs undergo four to five years of rigorous doctorate training in the art and science of natural health care [...] the first two years of naturopathic medical school are similar to those of a conventional medical doctor (MD), with the majority of classes focusing on basic sciences";

a scientific rigor claim.  Meanwhile homeopathy is on the page at least six times and is termed a "natural therapy".  The practice sells homeopathic remedies from their "apothecary".  There's also a slide show on "natural flu prevention" which includes suggestions of colloidal silver, probiotics, garlic, ginger, cod liver oil, vitamin D, vitamin C, zinc, and homeopathic preparations which they laud as effective.

"naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care profession, emphasizing prevention, treatment, and optimal health through the use of therapeutic methods and substances that encourage individuals’ inherent self-healing process [...] support your body’s ability to heal itself naturally";

that's of course coded vitalism. Not very distinct.

002.b2. and there's more posturing of science:

002.b2.i. in "About Dr. Rosalie De Lombaert" [2020 archived]:

"she is devoted to practicing evidence-informed medicine, and does so by keeping up-to-date with the scientific literature on complementary and alternative therapies";

002.b2.ii. in "Anxious? Here’s How to Cope" [2020 archived]:

"let’s see what science has to say about it [...] backed by scientific research [...] these 3 apps use evidence-based scientific research";
