ah, ye old coded vitalism.

"[from the video, ND Mushtagh states] there are certain things that are universal, certain principles that are universal [...such as] clean eating [...and the need for] detoxification [...with] chelators [...ND Matsen (Bastyr 1983) states] every animal has the ability to heal itself.  It's called homeostasis [(more coded vitalism) ...and we're shown his book] Eating Alive Simplified [...] most chronic diseases are systemic toxicity [...] mercury, aluminum, arsenic [...] many others [...are] the route of chronic disease [...see] northshorend.ca";

ah, the Toxin Boogeyman. Of course, this is what their schools teach e.g. the new AANMC video "Environmental Toxins: The Root Cause of Sickness" [saved 2021-02-08]. Some say, like the SBM world, that what NDs excel at is detoxify your wallet.

002.b. at their practice there's the page "Informed Consent for Naturopathic Care" [saved 2021-02-07] which states:

"homeopathic medicine: the use of highly diluted quantities of naturally occurring plants and minerals to gently stimulate the bodies healing response [...] acupuncture: the insertion of acupuncture needles to re-align and unblock qi (energy) in your body's meridians";

so, a claim of homeopathic efficacy and coded vitalism, then explicit vitalism. Well, homeopathy causing healing and qi as energy are as scientific as magic being found as an element of the periodic table.  And, of course, there's IV detox.
